The pillows are quite heavy and as the other reviewer noted, you can't scrunch them up like a normal pillow, if that is what you are used to doing. I have went through sooo many pillows over the years, and have never found one that I loved till I bought this one! It is firm but molds to your head and shoulders perfectly!! I twist and turn ALOT and the pillow is quite accommodating, molding into what ever position I find myself in. My husband has had back surgery and often wakes up with neck pain and not once has he woke up in pain using this pillow. I ended up buying a neck massaging pillow on Amazon because I was so sore...then something called a dog bone pillow also on Amazon...and finally bought this on impulse at Sam's. I had some of the Z by Malouf latex pillows in my shopping cart, but hadn't gotten around to buying them yet. I might never need to. This pillow is wonderful. I only wish I had picked it up before I bought the dog bone and neck massager. I've had memory foam pillows before, but none have been as comfortable to me. This works much better for my neck, even though it's not contoured like my other memory foam pillow.
